As a Digital Design Engineer, you will test complex, high speed, FPGA systems and implement DSP algorithms. You will translate requirements into hardware architectures, implement and document FPGA based designs using HDL, generate test vectors and fully test designs and support systems integration. You will be developing the worlds most advanced antenna technology which enables critical communications in some of the world’s most difficult environments. You will test and demonstrate the technologies with customers and see the positive impact of your products and ideas on people’s lives.

Minimum skills:

  1. Minimum of BS. (MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with an emphasis on analog and digital circuit design,
  2. Minimum of 5 years hands on experience specifying, designing, implementing, and testing high and low voltage analog and digital circuits for real-time microcontrollers used in communication systems.
  3. Hands-on experience designing analog, digital, and real-time microcontroller systems from concept and feasibility through schematics and PC board layout (solving component placement and electromagnetic interference issues), all the way to board bring-up, testing and production.
  4. Experience with circuit design and simulation tools such as Cadence, SPICE, Matlab Simulink, or equivalent.
  5. Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

  1. Real-time microprocessor firmware/software development, signal processing, probability and statistics, and communications theory.
  2. Experience with phased array antenna design and active design of RF signal processing systems.
  3. Electronic systems manufacturing
