PROJECT  ENGINEER - RF WiFi, Zigbee, WiMax

Job Description:  Design, develop and implement new electronic products.  Perform project management and coordination with others in R&E, Marketing, and Manufacturing for new products. Develop project schedule and budgets as well as insuring compliance with both. Can function as Project Team Leader for small projects.

Requirements:  BS in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years experience in design and development or testing

Other Position Objectives:  Work with other engineers to qualify RF, WiFi and GPRS products.  Write test specs, set up system tests, set up FTTP site and set up DHCP servers.  Install and beta test WiFi systems in the field. 

Working knowledge the below technical applications is mandatory:

  • Knowledge of HFSS, Gaussian Minimum Shift Key (GMSK) and Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) modulation

  • Test knowledge of RF devices

  • Knowledge of microcontrollers and firmware

  • Working knowledge of WiFi.  Zigbee and WiMax

  • Working knowledge of WiFi network set up Static and Dynamic IP addresses

  • Working Knowledge of FTP site, DHCP server settings

Sr. RF Low Observable Antenna Engineer

This Senior RF Antenna engineer will be responsible for:

Research and development of antennas and RF/microwave circuits.

  • You must understand antenna and RF circuit principles; have experience designing, developing, and testing antennas and RF components; and proficiently utilize computer-based RF circuit and electromagnetic simulators.
  • Knowledge of radar signature reduction techniques is a plus.
  • Recent experience with survivability & signature control techniques in antenna design and analysis.

Desired skills:

  • Bachelors degree with 12 years, or a Masters degree Electrical Engineering and 10 years of Antenna experience, with coursework/thesis concentrating in Antenna or RF/Microwave Engineering.
  • The individual must possess good oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing skills; competently organize and write technical papers and presentations; and provide key support to proposal efforts with cost estimates and technical write-ups.

We are currently seeking hard working, dedicated individuals for specific defense related RF/Microwave applications. This would include aspects of classified contractual RF/Microwave work through the Department of Defense.

BS and 10 year or 5 years and MS degree w/ conformal antenna experience

Position Description:

This position requires an experienced and driven RF/antenna engineer to enhance our growing R&D team.

The position requires expertise in RF and microwave design, antenna apertures, wave guides, printed antenna technology, phased arrays, prototyping, innovative fabrication techniques and the use of electromagnetic simulation software (e.g. FEKO, NEC, HFSS, GEMACS) for the analysis and design of advanced military platforms, weapons and products.

Experience with low profile or conformal antennas is a plus.

Applicant must be a team player, but must also work independently.

Responsibilities:

• RF and antenna design

• 200 MHz to 3 GHz internal antenna designs

• Understand different RF standards and modulation schemes

• Interact with other engineers in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

• BS degree in engineering, physics or related technical field, MS preferred and PhD considered for higher level position

• 4+ years work experience RF, radiating systems or antenna design

• Experience with RF test equipment and software (Network and Spectrum Analyzers, RF Generators, Pre-Amplifiers)

 Laboratory and field experience a plus.

Sr. Antenna Microwave Design Engineer

Essential Functions:


Design and Develop phased array antennas and related microwave circuits for airborne applications.


Perform electromagnetic and RF analysis of various design concepts using computer modeling tools.


Diagnose malfunctions in existing products and make improvements or modifications to produce improved results.


Perform technical report writing, which may include proposals, reports, test procedures and specifications.


Analyze and advise on the selection and application of subsystem components.


Interface with customer and/or provide manufacturing support.


Familiarity with specific antenna related measurement equipment such as network analyzers, anechoic chambers, far field ranges, etc.

 

Qualifications: Normally requires a minimum of 5 years experience. Requires microwave device and/or antenna system design experience.
Computer aided design and analysis experience preferred. Experience with high power radar antennas beneficial.

 

Minimum Education:
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.

 

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
